Rise Against!

This game addresses the issue of bullying, with the goal of motivating players—specifically high school students—as its target audience.

The widespread occurrence of bullying in schools has caused many victims to suffer from trauma and lose their self-confidence, including Youne. Once a confident and enthusiastic student, Youne began to withdraw from social life after becoming a victim of bullying. Even her best friend struggled to persuade her to return to school.

Amidst her despair, Youne began experiencing strange events—she dreamt of meeting characters from traditional Javanese wayang (shadow puppetry), who offered her moral lessons and the strength to rise again. With their guidance, Youne learned to face her fears—not just to survive, but to fight against the self-doubt that had long held her back.
